ElectraMeccanica to Break Ground on Solo EV Assembly Facility
ElectraMeccanica, a Vancouver-based startup, designs and manufactures electric vehicles. Their R&D efforts have culminated in the manufacturing and assembly facility in Arizona. Now, ofcourse, the electric vehicle sector is filling up with contenders, but ElectraMeccanica has a unique spin on their product.
They focus on the development of tiny electric cars – including the Solo and eRoadster. The Solo electric vehicle debuted in May of 2020, and boasts a tiny, single passenger vehicle on 3-wheels. The eRoadster is a dual passenger, 4-wheel vehicle with a classic look. While they begin the process of opening up a manufacturing and assembly facility in Arizona, they plan on continuing their R&D in Canada, as they enhance and expand their line of EVs.
