Creative Writer – Role with possible relocation to London, U.K. – Full Time

Swanson Reed is a leading firm in the area of R&D tax credits and innovation incentives. We employ Engineers, Scientists and Accountants to service a diverse range of clients from technology start-ups to billion dollar Government Owned Corporations in the commercial aspects of research, development, management and technology transfer. Swanson Reed seeks to recruit a Graduate Accountant to join their energetic team.

The Position

The position will begin with probationary training locally for 3 months, followed by a 1 to 2 year transfer to our Central London office in Trafalgar Square, in the heart of London, UK.

The job will consist of:

• The opportunity to talk with senior staff from a wide range of industries about their cutting edge technologies
• Getting a broad exposure to tax credits in different countries
• The possibility of being one of the published authors in journal articles you work on
• Exposure to the latest advances and developments in a range of fields, which you will summarise in a short report
• Helping to promote the company through a variety of marketing materials, such as blogs, webinars, etc.
• Assist in preparing R&D Tax claims
• Other tasks as required.

You will receive on the job training and guidance until you feel confident in the role.

Competitive salary and Swanson Reed will cover the cost of the visa application and flight to London UK.

Requirements

1. A completed degree
2. A self-starter with an inquisitive mind who demonstrates a committed and flexible approach will excel in this role.

One year’s work experience in a professional firm is preferred.

• A Canadian citizen and under 30 years of age; or

• Hold or be eligible for passport within the UK or European Union

Renumeration

$40,000.00 – $60,000.00 /year
